What makes AE truly unique are our founding principles. After nearly a decade in the auto repair industry as both a body man and head painter, AE's owner, Anthony Etchison, decided to open his own shop with the hopes of changing the way business was conducted in the auto repair industry. In recent years the customer has been essentially removed from the repair process. The customer is usually asked to get an estimate, drop off and pick up the car - with the involvement ending there. You, the customer, are left out of the loop as to what kind of parts are used, the extent of the damage, how your car is repaired, etc. While insurance companies are trying to convince the public that this is a good thing, toting it as superior customer service, Anthony has seen how innocent people are taken advantage of every day through the current system. While AE Collision and Customs will do all of the work, we believe in keeping you in the loop. We are more than willing to let you know when the insurance company is wanting to take advantage of you. They do this by suggesting repairs to your vehicle that do not meet the highest of standards, and what the law requires they do, return your car to pre-accident condition. If you take your vehicle to a repair shop that gets nearly all of their work from the insurance company's referrals (called a direct repair program), can you be sure the shop you take your car to will stand up for you, the customer? When body shops don't do as they are instructed by the insurance company, there are threats of dropping the shop from the direct repair programs. This means substantial loss of work for a shop if they are dropped. AE is independent, and we suggest you try to use a shop that is independent as well.

By being independent, AE is not forced into unfairly low compensation for repair work completed. This translates into more money in your pocket - we can save you money on your deductible!
